How can you claim this almost touches the 6900 and yet in the benchmark graphs it barely beats a normal 6800?

Well, not really needed unless you plan on pushing 400+ W on this card. My new XFX 6900XT Merc runs basically inaudible with 2520-2540Mhz ingame and 340W peak PowerDraw (whole card) locked there with 1108mV via the MorePowerTool. Man, was I glad when I found out you can still put anything on AMDs cards in terms of OC..or at least much higher than NV.

I'm still rocking an RX 460. I almost get console-level FPS on Sims 4. These might be available by the time I can afford them. Sad thing is, I was a borderline AMD fanboy up til now. Price is expected to be high. I wonder if it will reach the 3000 money units (1500~1700 EUR) in my country when/if available... I'm not paying absurd amounts of cash on something like this.

Frankly AMD's problem hasnt been hardware performance for quite a while. Quality-price-wise, they have had Nvidia beaten for a couple generations now. But as most of us learned the hard way, AMD's problem is software performance. Their drivers are a horrible buggy mess. Never had so many issues with so many different game as I have had with AMD GPUs, to the point where id rather a Nvidia card with lower specs than even the best performing AMD card.

This card beats even the 3090 at 1080p, is the same as the 3080 at 2k, and loses at 4k in Hardware Unboxed and Gamers Nexus's benchmarks... how come on your benchmarks it loses in everything?

There was a time when you buy a graphics card at this price point you can be sure its future proof. Now these cards aren't even future proof, the next jump is just a little bit increase in performance and a significant increase in price.

I don't think there's any reason to give 1000 dollars or more for a gaming GPU, it's a poor value proposition compared to just getting a 3070 or 3080... once you can actually get one of those.

interesting how the 6800xt does better at 4k with almost a 10 fps difference but suffers at 1440p when compared to the 3080 in some games.

traded my 5700xt and 250 for a merc319 rx6800. I very happy with the deal, I don't see stock stabilizing any time soon.

This is a great card, been impressed by it since I got it. Only thing the 3070 did better, was editing in Davinci. Gaming it does great.

Ethereum net hashrate has been increased for ~1,000,000 RTX 3080 cards for the last few weeks and keeps growing. AMD CANT IGNORE THIS ANY LONGER right now all new amd cards are simply useless

I've had no issues getting any of the new GPU's and maybe a lil trouble getting some of Ryzen's new 5000 series CPU's. Of course I live 5 minutes from 1 of two Micro Centers in my State. lol. I need this now though. I have several 3090's, a 3070, 3060ti, 6900xt, but NO HYBRIDS! Ughhhh. Woe is me. lol
